create-bsv-app

Turn your idea into an app that gets paid.

Describe your idea to an AI assistant. It builds a real app where people sign in with their wallet and pay you directly, with no payment company in between. No coding needed.

Help me build an app on BSV using create-bsv-app. My idea: sell my baking recipes for a few cents each.

Love it. Before we start, have you shipped an app before?

  1. a) No, this is my first one
  2. b) Yes, web apps, but I’m new to BSV
  3. c) Yes, including apps on BSV

a, this is my first one!

Paste the prompt and the assistant asks a few questions before it builds anything.

Three steps. No code.

Your AI assistant does the building. You make the decisions.

  1. 1

    Copy the prompt

One click. It’s a set of instructions that teaches your AI assistant how to build a BSV app.

  2. 2

Paste it into your AI assistant

Add your idea in a sentence. The assistant asks a few easy questions, shows you a plan, and builds it.

  3. 3

Try it with a free wallet

Install BSV Browser, open your app and sign in. Test coins are free, so nothing costs money yet.

What could you build?

Pick one to see the finished app, then copy a prompt made for it.

Fans send you a tip from their wallet in one tap. It lands straight with you.

Nicer for the people who use it.

  • No passwords

People sign in with their wallet. Nothing to remember, nothing to reset.

  • No sign-up forms

No emails or personal details to hand over just to try your app.

  • Their keys stay theirs

The wallet keeps keys on their own device. Your app never sees them.

Less to protect. Less to pay. More to own.

The same building blocks make sense for a team, not only for a solo maker.

  • No password database to guard

Wallet sign-in means you don’t store passwords, so there are none to leak.

  • No card processor taking a cut

Payments go from your customer’s wallet to yours, with a tiny network fee instead of a percentage.

  • Every request is provable

Each change in your app carries a proof of who sent it, so you can trust and audit what happened.

  • The code is yours

It’s ordinary, readable code on an open network. Host it anywhere, change anything, no platform lock-in.

A computer, an AI assistant and a free wallet.

  • A computer

Mac, Windows or Linux. Your assistant installs anything else it needs, like Node.js, and tells you what it’s doing.

  • An AI coding assistant

One that can work on your computer, such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf or Gemini CLI.

  • BSV Browser

The free wallet for macOS, Windows, iOS and Android. You’ll use it to sign in to and pay in your own app.

What people ask first.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe what you want and your AI assistant writes the code. It asks you questions in plain language and shows you a plan before it builds anything.

It helps to be comfortable installing an app and copying and pasting. The assistant walks you through the rest.

What does it cost?

create-bsv-app is free and open source. While you build and test, your app uses free test coins, so trying it costs nothing.

Your AI assistant may have its own subscription. Once you go live, you pay for hosting like any website, and each payment carries a tiny network fee.

Is it safe for my customers?

Your customers sign in and pay with their own wallet app, which keeps their keys on their device. Your app never sees a password or a card number, so there is far less for anyone to steal.

How do I put it online?

Ask your assistant to deploy it. Your app is a normal website and server, so it runs on common hosting services. The deploy guide lists the steps your assistant will follow.

What is BSV?

BSV is a public blockchain: a shared record of payments that nobody owns. It is built for lots of very small, very cheap payments, which is why charging a few cents per use can actually work.

Your idea, working today.

Copy the prompt, paste it into your assistant and tell it what you want to make.
