Getting started
Your app, running
Welcome. On the right is a project that npx create-bsv-app my-app --starter full-stack generates, running entirely in this page: a React client, an Express server, and the wallet code that joins them.
Nothing here is a mock-up. The files in client/src/bsv/ and server/src/bsv/ are exactly what the CLI writes. Edit any file and the preview reloads.
What's what#
client/src/App.tsxis your app. It's small on purpose: it renders the generated<ConnectWallet />button.client/src/bsv/is the generated client code: the wallet state machine, the API client, proofs.server/src/index.tsis your server. For now it has one route,GET /api/identity, which tells clients who it is.- The tutorial wallet sits under the preview. It's a throwaway key that lives in this browser tab, so you don't need to install anything. Every request your app makes of it shows up there.
Your task#
Click Connect wallet in the preview. Watch the Wallet panel: your app asks if a wallet is there (getVersion), whether it's ready (isAuthenticated), then for the user's identity key (getPublicKey).
Your task
- Connect the tutorial wallet
